Here’s the Backstory…
I found this one in a handmade photo book I made many years ago. This one is cropped from a 6X6 negative. I’ll say it has to be around 1974. I shot this with a Mamiya C33 Twin Lens Reflex. I wish I still had that camera. I don’t recall why I sold it. I may have done it to get a Mamiya 645. The C33 was cool but hard to use in low-light situations.

I have sold cameras over the years and usually end up regretting it. I traded a Mamiya 645 for a Hasselblad when I lived in Fort Worth. I am glad I have the Hasselblad, and only partially regret getting rid of the 645. I added several lenses to the Hasselblad when I lived in Page. I brokered the sale of a lot of equipment for Alan Reed, who was living near Page. I kept a few lenses for my Hasselblad. Alan Reed was a great photographer. He did many images for Arizona Highways.
The guy I sold the rest of the gear to got kinda upset that I kept some of the lenses for myself. I explained that I was the broker/middleman, but he wasn’t happy. I recommended returning everything. He changed his mind, reluctantly. Considering he got a 4X5 field camera with lenses, two Hasselblad bodies (one motorized), and lenses. I wish I’d have kept more than I did. Go figure, we both got great deals! Oh well!
